The first off-road event was held in 1924 at Camberley in Surrey, Great Britain. In 1930s this sport became especially popular in Great Britain when the motocross events were held regularly and many teams from various companies and districts participated. However, the bikes were almost the same as the ones from the streets. Today there are many different forms of riding, including indoor rides and outdoor freestyle motocross. Riders try to outdo their achievements all the time, which stimulates them to perform stunts that seemed to be impossible only 30-50 years ago.
